I am Fundraising for MS!
The fella that looks more surfy than cowboy is losing his locks…..and anyone that knows him well knows that he AND HIS HAIR are inseparable. It’s only washed on Sunday night..with ABSOLUTLY no exceptions to this rule and has only been very slightly trimmed in the last 8years…..so cutting it off is a big deal and to match this big deal, he thought let’s make it worth his while and make the event into a fundraiser.
Caleb aka Lebbo to those in the cattle industry has chosen to raise money for the MS Society S.A./N.T. as his Mum was diagnosed with Remitting Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis in 2010.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic illness with no cure that involves the body’s immune system attacking the central nervous system.
This year marks 15 years of her living with the disease.
A Flying doctors Flight from the Riverland in South Australia a week in the Royal Adelaide Hospital, returning home just over a week to recover, research and begin living her “New Normal”.
After her diagnosis she made many changes to her lifestyle in the hope that with medication it would stop her MS from progressing, this early intervention with changes to work, diet, lifestyle, the right medication and valuable support from the MS Society S.A./ N.T, her health is stable and to date no progression of this disease.
My partner is more than happy to be finally getting me to cut my hair, as is my Mum, Aunties and Grandmothers. My 2-year-old daughter Amarli probably won’t recognize me !
Please support my fundraiser, give me the biggest incentive to cut my hair and in so raise money to help the MS Society carry on its valuable work.
